GO states additional instalment of DA due from January 1, 2020, shall not be paid to employees and pensioners.
The Andhra Pradesh state government has passed an order holding DA for the government employees and pensioners/family pensioners at the current rates till July.
Regarding this, the government has also issued a GO on November 6.According to the GO, the additional instalment of DA due from January 1, 2020, shall not be paid to government employees and pensioners/family pensioners.Besides, the instalments of DA and DR that is due from July 1, 2020, to January 1, 2021, will not be paid.
However, the DA or DR due will be included in the cumulative rate once the state government decides to release the future instalments.
In addition to that, the order states no arrears for the period from January 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, shall be paid.The order applicable to teaching and non-teaching employees working in government and aided educational institutions, employees under local bodies, employees governed by the UGC/AICTE, judicial officers, employees of Zilla Parishads, municipalities, municipal corporations, work charged employees and all other employees drawing pay in the prescribed level of pay in the revised scales, 2015.
