It has been a long time since we have seen Raashi Khanna sizzling on the Telugu silver screen.Ever since her ‘World Famous Lover‘ tanked badly at the box-office, offers began to dry up for this beauty.
Despite all the gym looks and glamorous appearances in public, Telugu filmmakers are not showing much of an interest in her.However, Raashi Khanna is going to return to Bollywood after a gap of 8 years and make her digital debut very soon.Rashi was first seen in ‘Madras Cafe‘ opposite John Abraham and has appeared in numerous Tollywood films later.
Recently, Raashi has signed a web series that will be directed by directors’ duo Raj & DK of ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Go Goa Gone’ fame.
The second season of ‘The Family Man’ will stream from February 12th.Now they are looking to produce more content on digital platforms for which Rashi Khanna and Shahid Kapoor were roped in to play the main roles of the series.
Taking this opportunity, Raashi Khanna posted a picture of the two on her social media and tried to pull Shahid’s leg by saying, “Why are you hiding? Shahid, Am I so intimidating?”.
Shahid looked quite handsome with spectacles and beard while Raashi provided some glamour treat in this click.It was also disclosed that ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a pivotal role in the series which is titled ‘Sunny’.The team is currently in Goa where they are shooting the series for its first schedule.
Currently, Raashi has four Tamil films and one Malayalam film in the pipeline but no Telugu film in hand while Shahid Kapoor is on a spree to do remakes and is currently working on the remake of the Telugu film ‘Jersey’.
