Varun Tej Konidela is currently working for his sport based movie Ghani in which he is playing the role of a boxer, which is being helmed by Kiran Korrapati and backed by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby and under the Renaissance Pictures banner in association with Allu Bobby Company.We have already reported that Varun Tej starrer Ghani will have Kannada star Upendra in the crucial role.
Now according to the latest update, Upendra has joined the sets of Ghani that has Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar in the lead roles.Upendra’s pic with the team is going viral on social media.
The sources say that Upendra’s role has been kept a secret and he will be one of the attractions in the film.Bollywood stars Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Naveen Chandra will be seen in crucial roles.
The makers have already wrapped up the second schedule of the film recently in Hyderabad.The film Ghani has music by SS Thaman, who had also worked with Varun Tej in the romantic drama Tholi Prema.
Varun Tej was last seen playing a gangster in the action thriller Gaddalakonda Ganesh, under the direction of Harish Shankar that had Pooja Hegde in the female lead role.
