New Delhi, Aug 12 : A person aged 18 was allegedly stabbed by three persons in the capital’s Sultanpuri area, a police official told the media on Friday. The person injured was identified as Kuljeet Singh who is who is a resident of Chander Vihar, Delhi.
The Deputy of Police (outer) of Police (outer) Sameer Sharma said an PCR phone call was made on Thursday morning at the Sultanpuri police station in connection with the stabbing of an individual.Following the call, the Station House Officer along with other personnel arrived at the scene and discovered that the victim was taken to the SGMH hospital to receive treatment.
“During the investigation it was discovered that the injured Kuljeet Singh with his younger sister Soni Kaur and his cousin Lakhvinder Singh were heading to D block to Sultanpuri on a Bullet bike.When they got to Basanta chowk, three persons got into a fight with them and swarmed Kuljeet with an abrasive knives,” the DCP said.
Police have identified two of the suspects as Parvinder an alias Chintu and Harmeet Singh and have registered a case under specific provisions of law.”A investigation is in progress,” the official added.
