A student from Telangana, Kiran, has drowned in a swimming pool in the US.Kiran, a resident of Chinnakurukonda village in Khammam district, was pursuing his higher education in the US.He went to the US in November 2023 and was currently studying at a university in Sandal Town.Kiran’s father passed away, and his mother is a resident of Hyderabad.Kiran’s grandfather, Krishna Murthy Raju, was taking care of him.
Kiran and his friends went to the swimming pool on Saturday, but he couldn’t swim and drowned.Despite his friends’ efforts to save him, Kiran couldn’t be rescued.His body is expected to arrive in his village on Thursday.
