Kochi, November 19, : .Kerala Police appealed Friday against bail that was granted to staff and the owner of the Hotel where the DJ Party was held before the crash that claimed the lives of two beauty pageant contestants in the early hours of November 1.
Roy J.Vayalatin and five members of his staff were taken into custody Wednesday night.They were released on bail the next night.
In the remand reports, police also expressed doubts that drugs were involved in the incident.
It also stated that blackmailing was also an issue.
Vayalatin was taken into custody after telling police that the CCTV disk containing the party visuals had been deleted.
Ancy Kabeer (25 years old) and Anjana Shahan (24) died in the accident.Ashiq succumbed to injuries just a few days later.Abdul Rahman was the sole witness.
Rahman is currently out of the hospital, but police arrested him on charges of involuntary murder.
