Mumbai, November 19, 2018 : .Simu Liu was moved to tears by the film’s first director Destin Daniel Cretton during the movie’s narration.The actor was overwhelmed by emotions because of Shang-Chi’s strong connection with his family.
Liu shared his story and said that Destin did a wonderful job of explaining the story to him before I actually read it.Then, when it was finally time for me to read it, it made me cry.Because of the intimate connection between Shang Chi and Shang Chi’s characters and his families, I wept.
I realized that this movie was, at the end, all about my family.It was heartbreaking to see an Asian super hero doing amazing things for the sake of saving the world.
As an Asian fan and actor it was a very special moment.He added, “Just incredible.”
Shang-Chi, a super hero who battles the evils of his past, is eventually drawn to the Ten Rings Organization’s web.This film features South Asia’s first superhero representation and is now available to stream in English, Hindi Telugu, Kannada, and Telugu on Disney+ Hotstar.
