Actress Hamsa Nandini was updated on her health condition through a long message on social media.She was diagnosed with hereditary breast cancer positive (BRCA 1).Genetic mutations are responsible for 70% of breast and 45% of ovarian cancer in my lifetime, said actress Hamsa Nandini.Hamsa Nandini is currently undergoing chemotherapy and lumpectomy.
Taking to her official Twitter platform, the actress tweeted, “No matter what life throws at me, no matter how unfair it may seem, I refuse to play the victim.I refuse to be ruled by fear, pessimism, and negativity.I refuse to quit.With courage and love, I will push forward.”
Also, she revealed some details regarding her current condition.She said that she was diagnosed with a Grade III Invasive Carcinoma (Breast Cancer).
Also, the actress said that four months ago she noticed a small lump in her breast.Then, she suspected that it might be a symptom of breast cancer.
Hamsa Nandini’s mother died of breast cancer 18 years ago.When she underwent a biopsy, the doctors confirmed that she has breast cancer.Hamsa Nandini said that she has undergone 9 cycles of chemotherapy and 7 more cycles are yet to be completed.
