Bhopal on 6 September : The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park on September 17th the day of his birthday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Tuesday.
In the course of chairing the cabinet meeting the chief minister stated that the prime minister Modi will be visiting Kuno National Park where African Cheetahs will be relocated into a wildlife sanctuary.

Cheetahs will be transported into India under the first translocation in the world of the fastest-moving animal from Namibia and South Africa to the national park.

Kuno National Park is located in Shivpuri district in Gwalior-Chambal division.

Sources informed IANS that the initial group of African Cheetahs will be transported in from Johannesburg (South Africa) to New Delhi and then to Khajuraho between September 15 and 16.At Khajuraho airport, the animals will be transferred to the Shivpuri’s Kuno National Park via road.

“I am delighted to announce that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park in Shivpuri.He will be part of the program of shifting African Cheetahs to the park.

The Premier will speak to the group of Self-Help Group of women,” Chouhan said.

The initial batch of African Cheetahs was expected to arrive in Madhya Pradesh by August 15.But, it was delayed due to various reasons the officials in Madhya Pradesh Forest department declared.

Recently the MP Forest Minister Kunwar Vinay Shah had visited to South Africa for the same goal.

To commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister NarendraModi on September 17th The State BJP unit has come up with a long list of programs.

The celebration has been planned over an entire period of more than two weeks as “seva Pakhwara’ (service fortnight) across the state.
