Seoul, 23 Nov : , North Korea hosted a national computer programming contest aimed at developing talents that will lead its information and technology development.The Kimchaek University of Technology hosted a semi-final competition.Friday’s final match was scheduled to begin on Friday.
The university’s vice-president stated that around 1,240 people participated in preliminary contests.
These included teachers, researchers, college students and middle school students.
The vice-president stated that “we have attracted outstanding researchers to this event, which is designed to boost our programming abilities critical for information technology development”
North Korea has 6,800 cyberwarfare experts operating and striving to improve its cyber capabilities using the most recent technologies.
