It is common for people who are envious and do not want to see India progress to make negative comments when India achieves something significant. This happened again when the Indian song “Naatu Naatu” recently won the most coveted award.Honestly, this song even received praise from Americans, including the American singer Lady Gaga, who stood up and gave a standing ovation when it won an Oscar. We have all seen it.And the thunderous applause that followed the well-deserved live performance of the song at the awards ceremony is evidence of its greatness and its status as an Oscar-worthy song.

It is worth noting that the song “Applause” from the Jacqueline Fernandez-starring film “Tell It Like a Woman” was also contending for the Best Original Song category at the Oscars.Other tracks in the same category included Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick”, Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, and Son Lux, Mitski, David Byrne’s “This Is A Life” from “Everything Everywhere All at Once”.

Naatu Naatu was performed beautifully at the Oscars 2023, receiving a standing ovation from the crowd at Dolby Theatre.International dancers and singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava sang the rousing RRR anthem, leaving the audience on their feet.

Despite some criticisms of the awards, India is celebrating the historic wins at the Oscars, with two Indian productions taking home awards.
