Mumbai 7 August : Jay Zaveri says that it took him some time to adjust to playing Shanky in the show “Appnapan Badalate Rehton Ka Bandhan’.The actor says that the character is quite different from the roles he previously played. “Shanky is essentially an intellectual, friend guide, business associate to Nikhil Jaisingh, who is a well-known chef,” Jay said.
“The relationship I had with Nick (Cezanne Khan) is amazing, both on as well off screen.
The character is very different from other characters I’ve been playing on screen.My director constantly tells me to bring in the shankiness of my character’.”
“Shankiness,” Jay explained is the term used to describe a person who can speak at any time, without paying attention to the circumstances.” Jay is an experienced and tried-and-true actor who has been involved in of shows like “Merihanikark Biwi, Vighnaharta Ganesha “Ishq Main Marjawan Season 2′, and “Janani”.
He stated: “This character has taught me so much.I was doubtful in the beginning, when I first started this character.I was not a fan of Shanky’s characteror his personality.I’m usually quiet I am not able to think up with jokes and I require my own space.I am polite, respectful and respectful.”
“I struggled a lot in playing the character.This is different from other characters I’ve played before.Shanky is more in the comics realm.This entire show is a family drama , and Shanky is expected to bring in comical elements to it.”
In response to questions about what type of role he wants to take on in the near future, he said: “As an actor, I need to be a bit extravagant.I’ve played roles in shows like “Ishq Mein Marjawan,” in which I played a sort of grey-colored character.In the present, I am playing an animated character.People have told me I’m able to play an antagonist well, and I am looking to doing more of them in the near future.”
Jay stated that he has learned much from his experience in showbiz.”I was part of “Mere Savi” where I played the character of Das Ganu Maharaj.the character taught me a lot,” he said.
A good example was given, he said: “Usually I’m a temperamental.When I played Das Guru Maharaj, I realized that I need to remain in a calm and steady state and think before saying anything.The characters I’ve played have changed a aspect in me as well.”
Jay said: “If I talk about my other characters I was Bhojraj in “Vighnaharta Ganesha”.The character is as powerful as the king, but was so committed to Meera and Krishna.He always addresses anyone in an obedient manner.”
He concluded his remarks by declaring: “After playing these many positive characters, either without knowing it they became a part of me.I also ensured that I spoke courteously and respectfully with every person.Like my dad would always say to me, “When you show the respect of someone else, you’ll be rewarded.”
