AR Rahman, originally named AS Dileep Kumar, was born in Madras in 1967.
His father, a film-score composer for Malayalam and Tamil movies, passed away when Rahman was young, and he was raised by his mother, Kareema.Professionally, he excels as a music composer, singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist.
