The corona epidemic is raging in America once again.So far, there have been over five crore new cases and over 8 lakh deaths.
The death toll is higher in the U.S.than the number of people living in states like North Dakota and Alaska, according to Johannes Hopkins University.Also, Johannes Hopn=kins University said that the number of people dying each year from heart attack and stroke is the same as people dying of Covid in the US.As of March 1, there were a total of 8,80,000 deaths in the United States, according to the University of Washington.
US medical experts, however, say most deaths are caused by a heart attack alone because they were protected from the corona pandemic by the vaccine, which was made available in mid-December 2021.
About 60 per cent of the US population are fully vaccinated.
Epidemiologist Dr Chris Bearer said the deaths were preventable, but the victims lack immunity power.
When the vaccine was first introduced in the United States, the death toll rose to nearly 3 million nationwide.It reached 6 million in mid – June and 7 million by October 1.Dr Chris Bearer said the most deaths 2,40,000 in the US were reported between March and April 2020.
