The Central government has given the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-2 (KWDT-2), led by Justice Brijesh Kumar, new rules.These rules are about how the water from the Krishna river should be shared between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Adding to the 811 TMC (thousand million cubic feet) that KWDT-1 (the Bachawat Tribunal) said should go to united Andhra Pradesh, the Godavari Tribunal decided that the 45 TMC for united Andhra Pradesh should be divided between the two states based on different projects.
