Actor Prakash Raj announced his resignation from MAA membership.Speaking to the media, he said, “MAA elections went smoothly, and more people exercised their Right to Vote this time.” He asked Manchu Vishnu to fulfil the promises that he mentioned in the manifesto.

Prakash Raj further added that the decision to resign was taken after thinking a lot.He said it was unfortunate that he was not born in a Telugu-speaking family.On this occasion, Prakash Raj said that he would remain as a guest in MAA.Prakash Raj said that Manchu Vishnu was elected for the Presidential post based on regionalism.

“Nearly 650 people took part in the elections.Congratulations to all the winners, including Manchu Vishnu, Shivabalaji and Raghubabu.You came up with the biggest ideologies and now fulfil your promises.

MAA elections were held based on regionalism and nationalism.The slogan that MAA members follow is, Non-Telugu persons can vote, but they should not contest elections.”

Also, Prakash Raj added, “The bond I have with Telugu people continues through movies.I am therefore resigning to MAA membership.

People like BJP leader Bandi Sanjay tweeted about our loss.I have a 21-year-old affiliation with MAA,” said Prakash Raj.
