New Delhi, Sep 5 : Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party on Monday in response to the legal notice issued by the Lieutenant Governor V.K.Saxena in response to accusations of corruption, questioned If he did nothing wrong what is the reason he so afraid of the possibility of a CBI investigation.
In a statement, AAP declared: “Why does he not offer to be an independent witness? He should stop threating people.He has committed so many crimes in KVIC that he attempts to prevent the public from seeing it by threating people.”
A little earlier in the day, Saxena has sent legal notice to the AAP and its leaders Atishi, Durgesh Pathak, Saurabh Bhardwaj Sanjay Singh, Jasmine Shah and others for launching “false accusations” against Saxena, spreading “fake news” and “motivated propagandist strategy” to defame his image.
The APP leaders have recently stated they believe that they believed that LG has been implicated in an alleged scam in demonetization in 2016.They cited the purported fraud of $1400 million allegedly perpetrated by KVIC under Saxena’s chairmanship.
However the AAP in the statement stated that their voice cannot be silenced.”But he cannot silence our voice.We will continue to raise our voices against corruption.We have zero tolerance for corruption.” the declaration read.
