AAP lodges complaint against BJP leaders regarding treatment at a ‘dangerous hospital building’

New Delhi, 31 December : .The AAP filed a complaint against BJP leaders because they continued to treat North MCD’s Rajan Babu Hospital patients despite the hospital’s alleged disrepair.
A complaint was filed with Mukherjee Nagar Police Station against BJP leaders, for continuing to treat North MCD’s Rajan Babu Hospital despite its deteriorating condition,” Vikas Goel, AAP’s North MCD leader, said.He also stated that all ‘perpetrators’ in the FIR have been cited and demanded the immediate vacating the decaying’ structure.

Kalkaji MLA Atishi, a Thursday morning tweeter posted photos and a video of the hospital and expressed surprise that patients were being treated in what was declared dangerous.It could fall any time.

Atishi, Goel and both of them claimed that the structure was dangerous.

Goel stated that continuing treatment in spite of the fact the building was declared unsafe violates the guidelines and also puts lives at risk for patients and staff.

Atishi, who spoke on Thursday morning that “it seems like the BJP-led MCD had left Delhi people to die,” said Atishi.

Praveen Shankar Kapoor, spokesperson for BJP, stated that the patients are happy with their care.

However, other BJP members showed a screengrab showing a Delhi government mohalla clinic in a disused condition.

The Rajan Babu Institute of Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis in GTB Nagar, which falls under the North Delhi Municipal Corporation(NDMC), was slated for development as a multi-speciality facility in 2017.
