Jagapathi Babu on Playing a Negative Role for Salman Khan: No Reservations, Just Hair Dye

Actor Jagapathi Babu has played the main antagonist in Salman Khan’s upcoming film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”.In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Jagapathi Babu said that working with Salman Khan was very simple and easy.

He added that Salman guided him during the shooting and did not make him feel intimidated.They were supposed to have a fight scene, but due to Covid and dengue, it was not possible.

Jagapathi Babu clarified that there was no reservation about playing a negative role in the film.Salman Khan wanted him to dye his hair black and look younger as he could not fight an older person.

The actor also laughed off the question about Pooja Hegde helping him get the role, saying that he did not know anything about it.

The actor, who has worked in both South Indian and Bollywood films, said that he did not find much difference between the industries.He said that working on Salman Khan’s film was smoother as there was no pressure of money or budget.

When asked about the trend of South Indian cinema going pan-India, Jagapathi Babu said that it was a healthy trend as cinema is universal and there should be an exchange of experiences.

He added that Baahubali’s success had opened up new opportunities for people in the industry.

Finally, when asked about Pushpa 2, the actor confirmed that he would be reuniting with director Sukumar in the film.He said that he and Sukumar had a good bond and that the director had told him to go ahead and do what he had to do when there was a clash of dates.Jagapathi Babu added that he was proud to be a part of Pushpa 2 as he loved the first part.
