Varanasi 18 August : The husband of a woman who is a plaintiff in the Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi trial has filed an FIR with the Varanasi police alleging that he received a’sar the tan se juda’ (beheading) threat by an unknown caller utilizing the Pakistan number.
The hearing in the Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi case continues in the court of the district judge on Thursday.

Station Officer (SO) Luxa, Anil Sahu, stated, “We have lodged an FIR against an unidentified person or persons for threatening to make threats following an anonymous complaint from Sohan Lal Arya.”

Arya reported to journalists that he was threatened by a caller from a mobile phone of Pakistan.

“The caller is calling me with the phrase ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’, similar to the one associated with Kanhaiya of Rajasthan (beheading as Kanhaiya Lal of Udaipur in Rajasthan).The caller is making threats of severe consequences to force us to withdraw the case” he added.

Arya stated that he received calls from the exact Pakistan number on March 19 , and on July 20.

“Moreover the missing call of August 3 is in the call list that was discovered by Laxmi Devi,” said Arya, declaring that as the threat was not stopped, he decided to bring the matter to the attention of the commissioner of police as well as district magistrate.

Sohan Lal Arya, husband of Laxmi Devi Laxmi Devi, one of the five plaintiffs in the case 693/2021 Rakhi Singh vs.the state of UP and other.They have petitioned the court to get the right to worship Shringar Gauri as well as other gods in Gyanvapi’s compound.

Hearings on the issue of the maintainability of the case is in progress in the court of district judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha.

The next hearing will be scheduled for August 18.
