CISF trooper working at Kolkata museum fires indiscriminately killing a fellow trooper

Kolkata 7 August : A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) trooper, who was stationed in the Indian Museum at the busy Park Street crossing, on Saturday fired in indiscriminately with his AK-47 rifle.He killed a colleague and injuring another critically, according to police.
Following the incident the rogue trooper was able to hide in the museum’s area with his gun.

Commandos of Kolkata Police and other CISF troopers and officers have cordoned off the Museum area, and have used microphones to call the murderer CISF trooper to surrender.City Police Commissioner Vineeet Goyel, wearing a bulletproof jacket and a metal headgear, also made it to the spot.

It is the second instance of an incident of shooting by a security officer on the Kolkata street in the last three months.
