Chief Minister KCR and his entourage reached Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s official residence ‘Varsha’ on Sunday afternoon.
The BJP took dig at Thackeray, with Party leader Kirit Somaiya asking if Thackeray has sought permission from Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi before Scheduling the meeting with KCR.
The two chief ministers met after lunch.Movie star Prakash Raj also attended the meeting.
Future politics, current politics as well as central government policies are being discussed on the occasion.After the meeting, KCR will meet NCP chief Sharad Pawar.CM KCR will arrive in Hyderabad from Mumbai at 7.20 pm.The Chief Minister was accompanied by MPs Santosh Kumar, Ranjit Reddy, Bibi Patil, MLCs Kavitha, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and TRS general secretary Shravan Kumar Reddy.Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ on Sunday said the meeting will expedite the process of political unity at the national level against the BJP.
A similar meeting had happened between West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Thackeray, with an attempt Non – Congress Non – BJP Front.But within a few days, shiv sena ruled out any alliance with her,” Somaiya Said.
CM KCR has recently raised the pitch in his opposition to BJP and PM Modi.
