Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the popular actor who recently starred in the film Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda, has taken a break from acting to focus on her health.She was diagnosed with myositis, a condition that causes inflammation of the muscles, in October 2022.
She has been spending some time travelling and exploring new places.
One of her latest destinations was Salzburg, a city in Austria that is famous for its musical heritage.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu visited the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the renowned classical composer who lived in the 18th century.She also went to see the Villa Trapp, a historic mansion that was used as the home of the Trapp family in the classic movie Sound Of Music.
Sound Of Music is a 1965 musical romance film that tells the story of a young woman who becomes a governess for the seven children of a widowed naval officer.The film features songs like Do-Re-Mi, My Favorite Things, and Edelweiss.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared on her Instagram account that this film was very special to her since her childhood.
She wrote that she used to watch Sound Of Music whenever she felt happy or sad as a child, because it would take her to a magical world that would give her comfort and detachment from reality.
She said that she continued to watch the film as she grew older, and that it was a mystical place for her.She added that visiting the location where the film was shot was an emotional and touching experience for her.
She posted several pictures of herself posing in front of the Villa Trapp and other scenic spots in Salzburg.She also expressed her gratitude for being able to travel and see new places.
She said that she felt blessed and lucky to be able to do so.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon be seen in the Indian version of Citadel, an American spy series.She will be playing the lead role opposite Varun Dhawan.The series is expected to release in 2024.
