Jr NTR, a popular actor, has flown to the US from Hyderabad, India, a week ahead of the 95th Academy Awards.The actor was seen arriving at Hyderabad airport in a beige sweatshirt, black pants, grey shoes, and a backpack.
He was also seen smiling and talking with a fan.
Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt received the Spotlight Award at the Hollywood Critics Association 2023, but were not able to attend the ceremony in person.The organisation recently announced that they would be sending out their trophies next week.
Jr NTR’s film RRR is on the shortlist for Best Original Song for the dance song Naatu Naatu, which won the Golden Globe Award earlier this year.
Naatu Naatu will be performed at the Oscars by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, and is nominated alongside three other songs for Best Original Song.
Naatu Naatu features Jr NTR and Ram Charan, and was filmed at the Mariinskyi Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The song “Naatu Naatu” was not only released in Telugu but also in Hindi as “Naacho Naacho”, Tamil as “Naattu Koothu”, Kannada as “Halli Naatu”, and Malayalam as “Karinthol”.The Hindi version of the song was sung by popular playback singer Rahul Sipligunj and Vishal Mishra.
The 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be aired live on March 13 in India.
On the other hand, Koratala Siva’s next film with Jr NTR was supposed to be in production, but was delayed due to various events.The actor could not attend the HCA awards where the shooting was scheduled to take place.Additionally, he was unable to travel to the US until yesterday due to the passing of Tarakaratna and other commitments.
However, now that all these events have been addressed, the shooting of NTR and Koratala Siva’s film will commence after the Oscars.
