Parliament on Monday demanded as a witness that the new states formed during the BJP regime be given special status under any law.He directly questioned that BJP rule is a morality for other states.

Opposition TDP in the state is criticizing what has been done on special status.Addressing the gathering on the resolution to thank the President for his speech, Vijayasaireddy vehemently questioned the ruling BJP on the status quo and rebutted the TDP’s criticism.

Earlier in the day, he thanked the President on behalf of the people of the state and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, outlining the various achievements and priorities achieved by the Central Government.

The Center says states like Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh will also demand it if it is given to AP.Today, the BJP government at the Center has divided the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, but no state has lost capital. But the divided AP lost Hyderabad.

Also, the Center is saying that status cannot be given on the basis of economic backwardness. The Center is pointing out that if AP is given status on economic grounds, backward Odisha and Bihar will also demand it.

Vijayasaireddy clarified that the central government was arguing whether a special package should be given to AP in lieu of status and that a separate package for the status was in no way an alternative.Vijayasaireddy severely erred in the decision taken by the Center to reduce the AP net debt collection limit.

He said the AP should now be punished for misdeeds such as debts incurred during the Chandrababu regime and chaotic financial management.Explains how AP is better than the central government in terms of net debt collection. In 2019–20, the center deficit was 4.6 per cent, in the AP it was 4.1 per cent, in 2020–21 the deficit was 9.2 per cent, in AP it was 5.4 per cent, in 2021–22 it was 6.9 per cent and in AP it was 3.5 per cent.In view of the facts the AP was asked to remove the restrictions on the net debt collection limit.
