In a surprising move, frustrated by the prolonged delay in receiving their salaries, the Andhra Pradesh Secratariat employees took a drastic action on Monday.The protesting employees locked Minister Venu gopalakrishna’s chamber in the secretariat, staging a protest against the unpaid wages.
The employees, who have not received their wages since November of the previous year, expressed their grievances and dissatisfaction with the minister’s lack of response to their repeated pleas for timely remuneration.They emphasized the dire consequences of the prolonged salary delay, questioning how they could sustain their livelihoods without payment for nearly eight months.
