Raghava Lawrence, a popular actor-director from the South Indian film industry, is currently busy with his upcoming movies.He recently directed the Hindi movie Laxmii, which starred Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani.
However, he has now taken a break from direction and is focusing on his acting career.He has five movies in the pipeline, out of which he is acting in three movies and directing none.
One of his upcoming movies is Chandramukhi 2, in which Kangana Ranaut is playing the female lead.The upcoming movie is being directed by P Vasu, with Lawrence playing the role of Vettaiyan, previously portrayed by Rajinikanth in the first installment.
The movie is a sequel to the 2005 Tamil movie Chandramukhi, which was a blockbuster hit.
According to a latest report from a national media, Lawrence is also acting in Super Hero, a Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie, which is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja from Studio Green.Ramesh Varma is directing the movie, and Lawrence will be playing three different characters, including a surprise character that has not been disclosed yet.The movie is expected to be a big-budget, larger-than-life film.
When asked about the recent success of Gnanavel’s Tamil movie Pathu Thala, which starred Gautham Karthik, Ramesh Varma said that all his movies are pan-India films.He also added that he is doing two movies with Studio Green, one of which is a love story.
Gnanavel Raja confirmed the title of Lawrence’s upcoming movie, Super Hero.He said that they are yet to finalize the cast and credits, and the movie will be a Tamil/Telugu bilingual.He also added that they might release the movie in Hindi later.
Apart from these movies, Lawrence is also acting in Jigarthanda Double X, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
He has also directed and acted in Rudhran, which is scheduled to release on April 14.His other movie, Dost, directed by Venkat Mohan, will be released after Jigarthanda Double X.
Chandramukhi 2 is set to release during Dussehra, and Jigarthanda Double X will be released by the end of this year.Super Hero will go on floors next month.
