Bengaluru 13 Aug : Karnataka police have initiated a hunt for an Tamil Nadu industrialist who allegedly sexually assaulted a software engineer in an elegant hotel in Bengaluru under the pretense of business meetings police sources said on Saturday.
The police officers of the Cubbon Park police station in Bengaluru have created special teams to track down the industrialist who disappeared after a complaint from a 35-year-old woman.

According to the complainant she was summoned to a hotel in Bengaluru on the 6th of August in connection with a discussion regarding the development of an application for software.

The industrialist was well-known by the victim.

The woman stated that the industrialist was her distant cousin.She was planning to meet him without any doubt.

When she arrived at the hotel the suspect fought back and assaulted her.After the incident, he had given her the death threat according to police.

However, the victim filed an official complaint on the 10th of August.At the time that police started investigating the suspect had fled to Tamil Nadu.

According to the police reports, the woman is currently working as a technician on an upcoming film and was in need of financial assistance to start her own application.The victim informed the industrialist accused of her app and asked for help.

The industrialist who is a distant relative of the victim was able to take advantage of her and assaulted her, according to police.The police have taken over the investigation.

Police sources also claimed that they will be able to get clarification when the testimony of the suspect is recorded.
