From Andhra Pradesh, Special CS SS Rawat of the Finance Ministry, L Premachandra Reddy, Chief Secretary, State Redistribution Division, Girijashankar, Commissioner, Civil Supplies, Mukesh Kumar Meena, Secretary, Commercial Taxes, N.Srikanth, Secretary, Energy, SFC, Managing Director, SFC were present.Ashish Kumar said a meeting would be held every month from now on to discuss pending issues.
During the meeting, the Andhra Pradesh government asked the Union Home Ministry to issue orders on various arrears due from Telangana under the Partition Act.Appealed for orders to be issued to expedite the resolution of issues.
AP officials said that a plan has been submitted to the Center regarding the split of the AP State Finance Corporation and the Central Government should issue orders on this.
The Telangana government has objected to how the orders will be issued in the wake of legal disputes over this.The Telangana government has been delaying for a long time and recently filed a counter, while the central government has to file a counter, AP officials said.
