Leaders of the PRC practice group lauded CM YS Jagan for understanding the plight of state government employees, teachers and workers with a big heart and resolving the issues positively.The PRC practice group announced on Saturday night that it would call off the strike following the success of talks with the cabinet sub-committee on Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, PRC Sadhana Samithi leaders Bandi Srinivasa Rao, K Venkatramireddy, Bopparaju Venkateshwarlu, K Suryanarayana and Prasad met the CM at the camp office in Thadepalli and thanked him.
He said the CM had raised the HRA slabs as per the recommendations of the Committee of Ministers and agreed to continue the CCA (City Compensatory Allowance) and give additional quantum pension to the pensioners.This will put a burden of Rs 1,330 crore on the exchequer.With the CM’s approval of the latest Cabinet Committee proposals, an additional Rs 1,330 crore will be added and Rs 11,577 crore will be borne by the exchequer.He recalled that when the state’s financial situation was good the CM gave 27% IR without anyone asking.“Corona effect has reduced the state’s revenue by Rs 20,000 crore annually.He urged the job seekers, teachers and workers to understand the economic condition of the state.
The CM respects the sentiments of job, teacher and workers.Thank you for resolving the issues positively.The CM did what he could to the extent that the state’s financial situation was conducive.Fixed all issues except fitment.It is commendable to say that a committee of ministers will be set up on a permanent basis to discuss and resolve future employee issues from time to time.
We will set up a committee with all the job, teacher and labor unions to discuss with the committee of ministers.The CM said that he would meet the leaders of the unions one day every month and discuss the issues.
He said union leaders would be involved in decisions that would address employee issues.
