London, 31 December : .A series of “surge hubs,” which will be established in Britain, are being prepared for Omicron-related hospital admissions.
NHS England announced that temporary structures with a capacity of accommodating around 100 people will be built on eight NHS hospitals in the UK.Work can begin as soon as next week.

According to Xinhua, the NHS trusts were also asked to find areas like gyms or education centers that could be converted for patients.Additional sites may be added in order to provide up to 4,000 beds.

According to recent figures, around 90 percent of British adults aged 12 and over have received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccination.More than 82% have received both.

Over 58% have had booster jabs, or received the third dose coronavirus vaccination.
