The Festival will be once again a marathon of ideas between idealists and realists.Visionaries, intellectuals and avant-garde will all be present.

They will be joined by an abiding love of literature and engage in informed discussion.

The second list of 25 speakers includes an Indian poet, LGBTQ rights activist, and author of Like Blood on the Bitten Tongue, Delhi Poems, and How Many Countries Does the Indus Cross Akhil Kantyal; British biographer and literary agent, and author of many book books – including the New York Times bestseller The Dawn of Everything, A New History of Humanity David Wengrow (co-written with David Graeber); award-winning British-Turkish novelist and author of (co-Union Minister); Kei Miller; PEN Open Book Award-nominated poet, essayist, Kei Miller; PEN Open Book Award-nominated Kei Miller; Kei Miller; Kei Miller, writer, essayist, Kei

The list is made more interesting by Mahfuz Anam, a renowned Bangladeshi journalist; critically acclaimed historian and author of False Allies, India’s Maharajahs under the Age of Ravi Varma S.Pillai; American academic and author of the award winning books Edge of Empire and Liberty’s Exiles and The Dawn Watch : Joseph Conrad In a Global World Maya Jasanoff, British writer of Brick Lane – Monica Ali; Nandana Sen, actor, child-rights and the Promises Naushad Forbes; and the Struggles and the Promises Naushad Forbes; and the ZOHRA! It has a varied flavour because it includes Rupert Everett, a celebrated Hollywood actor, director, and writer; British poet and author of 12 poetry collections and two novels on wildlife Ruth Padel; Indian writer, critic, and academic Saikat Majumdar; Tanuj Solanki, a Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar recipient author; author of a variety of books including The Body Adorned and Discourse in Early Buddhist Art; and Yogini Cult.

William Dalrymple, writer and historian, is Co-director of Jaipur Literature Fest.He said, “We’re coming back with a truly remarkable line up of literary stars from all over the world.This year’s Booker winner is Damon Galgut.His predecessors Monica Ali, DBC Pierre, Pulitzer winning Jonathan Franzen, and Turkish superstar Elif Shafak are also featured in fiction.
