Lucknow : , Uttar Pradesh has reached the 15-crore milestone in vaccines in the state.This is more than 33 percent higher than Maharashtra’s total doses.
The state has 10.62 million people who are only partially vaccinated, and 4.37 billion have received both doses.Given that Uttar Pradesh has 15.04 million eligible citizens, it means that 29.9% of its population is fully vaccinated.71% only need one dose.
A government spokesperson stated that senior officials in health have instructed staff to continue the pace until all eligible people are vaccinated.
They also encouraged the public to visit their clinics to get their vaccines in the individual and collective interest.
In the meantime, 12 Covid-19 cases have been reported in various parts of the state within the last 24 hours.This brings the total number to 17.10 lakh as of Monday.
Eight districts reported the cases.According to the official bulletin, eight people had been cured of coronavirus infections.This brings the total number of cases recovered up to 16.87 million.That’s a recovery rate greater than 98 percent.
Currently, over 55 percent of active Covid cases can be found in just three areas, with Gautam Buddha Nagar, Lucknow, and Prayagraj accounting for the highest concentration.
