Los Angeles, November 19, : , Jason Reitman was always asked by his father to direct the ‘Ghostbusters film.Jason of Ivan Reitman directed the 1984 original Ghostbusters.
He shared his thoughts with Variety about how he initially resisted the idea because he was afraid to take the proton packs.This movie was about that.”Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is about how a family finds the strength to take the proton packs home.
Film follows the story of a family who moves into a Summerville farmhouse, Oklahoma.
They are then troubled by strange earthquakes and other happenings.
Phoebe (Mckenna grace) and Trevor, (Finn Wolfhard), discover their grandfather is original Ghostbuster Dr.Egon Spengler and set out to find his legacy and save our world.
Carrie Coon said that it was the “cozy blanketie” of the 1980s about the original Ghostbusters.Coon portrays Callie.She is the daughter of Egon, and mother to Phoebe.
Coon stated that he was just three years old when the first movie was released.He didn’t take me to the cinema to watch it but it was on TV.
It’s a big part of me.It was something I never imagined that I would ever find myself talking about.It’s something I will be talking about for the rest my life.
Logan Kim who played Phoebe’s classmate Podcast said that his dad ran around screaming like a child when he learned he had been cast in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
We were just all dancing about the house.This movie has been part of my childhood since the very beginning.
Reitman had in mind to center this version of the famous franchise around children.
Reitman said, “It’s not an accident that it was me on set of Ghostbusters as a child and that this movie is about young people getting that equipment and learning how it works.”
It’s no accident that my 12-year old daughter is brilliant and uses ghostbusting to help her become a hero.
Celeste O’Connor plays Trevor’s classmate Lucky Domingo.
She added that even those who haven’t seen original movies will find much to enjoy in this reboot.
She said, “The best thing about it was that this movie isn’t only for the original Ghostbusters fans.”
