As per the IMD bulletin, Kerala, south Coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh are likely to witness “very heavy rainfall” from November 15 to 18.According to the IMD bulletin, Kerala and south Coastal Karnataka, Andaman & Nicobar islands, and coastal areas in Andhra Pradesh will likely experience “very heavy rains” between November 15 and 18.

Tamil Nadu, south interior and coastal Karnataka and Kerala are likely to witness heavy rainfall from November 15 to 17.From November 15-17, heavy rains are expected to hit Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the south interior of coastal Karnataka.

Goa is also likely to receive heavy rainfall on November 15-16.Goa will also be subject to heavy rains on November 15-16.

The IMD predicted that sea condition will be rough to very rough over Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal during November 14-15, over west-central and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal during November 16-18 and along and off Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south Odisha and north Tamil Nadu coasts on November 17 and 18.IMD forecasts that the sea conditions will be very rough or very rough in Andaman Sea and adjacent southeast Bay of Bengal between November 14-15.It will also be extremely rough in west-central and adjoining east central Bay of Bengal between November 16-18.The IMD also predicted that Andhra Pradesh, south Odisha, and north Tamil Nadu coasts would be affected by this storm on November 17-18.

Issuing alert to the fishermen, the IMD advised them not to venture into Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal on November 14 and 15, over west-central and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal during November 16-18.The IMD issued an alert to fishermen and advised them to stay away from the Andaman Sea and the adjacent southeast Bay of Bengal between November 14-15 and the west-central and adjacent east-central Bay of Bengal between November 16-18.

The IMD also advised the fishermen to not venture out along and off Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha and north Tamil Nadu coasts on November 17 and 18.The IMD advised fishermen not to venture off the coast of Andhra Pradesh, south Odisha, and north Tamil Nadu on November 17-18.

“Fishermen out at sea in the above areas of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea are advised to return to coast by November 15,” the IMD said.The IMD stated that fishermen who are out at sea in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal above should return to the coast no later than November 15.
