SSP robbed Srinagar street vendor Rs.1 lakh from their own pocket

Srinagar : , Sunday, Nov 14, 2014: Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar Sandeep Chaudhary gave Rs 1 lakh of his personal savings to a street vendor aged 90 who had been robbed of all of his life savings.
The gesture by the SSP to help Abdul Rehman, who sells ‘channa’ on the roadside in Bohri Kadal area of old Srinagar, is being appreciated by many and social media is agog with praise for the officer.

Many are appreciating the gesture of the SSP to assist Abdul Rehman who sells channa along the roadside in Bohri Kadal, old Srinagar.Social media is abuzz with praise for him.

Abdul Rehman was thrashed by some robbers on Saturday and they decamped with Rs 1 lakh, his entire savings, which he had intended for his last rites.Abdul Rehman was attacked by robbers Saturday.

They took Rs 1 lakh of his savings which he intended to use for his final rites.
