Telangana IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao provided a significant health update regarding his father, Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR).According to KTR, KCR has developed a secondary chest infection and the viral fever he has been battling.This new bacterial infection may prolong his recovery time.
Minister KTR said this during a TV interview on Friday.The CM’s viral fever has subsided, he said.
“He (CM KCR) also unfortunately had a secondary infection, a bacterial infection.So, it is taking longer than usual.
His viral subsided and then the bacterial started.He has some infection in the chest.
He should be out in a day or two,” the Minister told media.
CM KCR has maintained a low profile for the past three weeks due to his viral fever.
He has refrained from attending government functions and interacting with the public during this period.Doctors have been providing medical care for him at Pragati Bhavan.
On September 26, KTR took to Twitter to inform the public about CM KCR’s health condition, stating that his father had been suffering from viral fever for several days.He mentioned that a team of five doctors attended him at Pragathi Bhavan, and KCR had been experiencing fever and cough for a week.
The news of Chief Minister KCR’s illness has raised concerns among BRS leaders, activists, and supporters.They are offering prayers for his swift recovery and hope that he will resume his active participation in government and party activities once the assembly election notification is released.
