Matinee Entertainment, which is currently producing big-budget films like Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ and Nagarjuna’s ‘Wild Dog’, has also decided to back small and medium-range movies.They have recently announced a film under the direction of ‘Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya‘ fame Swaroop.RSJ.
Now, they are coming up with their ninth production with hero Sree Vishnu as the main lead.This film will be directed by Teja Marni who won critical accolades for his debut directorial ‘Johaar’.Amritha Aiyer is roped in as the female lead for the film to be bankrolled by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy of Matinee Entertainment.
The latest news is that the untitled film has been launched today with a formal Pooja event at Matinee Entertainment office in Hyderabad.For the first shot directed by Swaroop RSJ, Vivek Athreya clapped and Sivalanka Krishna Prasad switched on the camera.
The script was handed over to the team by Anvesh Reddy, Sree Vishnu, and Amritha Aiyer.
Billed as a comedy caper, the film has director Sudheer Varma penning the dialogues and the shooting will be commencing from early 2021. Priyadarshan Balasubramanian will compose music, while Jagadeesh Cheekati will crank the camera.The film also has Senior Naresh, Sivaji Raja, Subba Reju, Devi Prasad, Mahesh, Raj Kumar Chowdary, Chaitanya, and others in crucial roles.Stay tuned for more updates!
