Recently, a group of Indian Americans appealed to Joe Biden to reject Masood Khan as ambassador.The group described Masood as a sympathizer of terrorist groups.
Lady Al Qaeda has accused Masood of displaying a positive attitude towards the militant groups Hizbul Mujahideen, Harkat ul Mujahideen and Jamaat-e-Islami.The Indian team believes that the appointment of Masood Khan as Pakistan’s ambassador would put terrorist organizations at risk of gaining access to American institutes.

Masood Khan was the president of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) until August last year.He had earlier served as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and as Pakistan’s Ambassador to China.
