New Delhi, Aug 20 : After a 14-hour CBI raid on his home, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told reporters that the behavior of the CBI team was excellent, however they took my computer and mobile phone as well as several important files’. “Their (CBI) behavior was excellent.
They haven’t contacted me for an investigation as of yet.They have taken my personal computer and phone.They also took away certain files,” Sisodia said.
“Me as well as my entire family have given support to the investigation agency.We haven’t committed any wrongdoing or corruption.That’s why we’re not scared of everything,” he added.
He said that the CBI is being commanded by the top levels (Union government) and is being used to sabotage.
“Everyone knows that the good work of the Delhi government are being thwarted with the help of the CBI.However, the work of providing quality education and health will not stop, the Delhi government won’t cease, Sisodia said.
The CBI on Friday conducted more than 14 hours of search at Sisodia’s residence as well as 22 other places in the capital city in connection with infractions in the latest Excise law case.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K.Saxena had recommended a CBI inquiry into the Arvind Kejriwal government’s Excise Policy 2021-22 on the 22nd of July.
