Bengaluru August 31, : Karnataka Police on Wednesday erected about 1500 police officers in the area of the Idgah Maidan in Bengaluru in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling not to permit Ganeshotsav celebrations in the controversial city.
The staff includes 21 , ACP’s 130 sub-inspectors and 126 assistant sub-inspectors and 900 constables, who will be closely monitored by DCPs.

The total of Rapid Action Force (RAF) 120 people and the team of 100 ammunition experts 10 platoons of the Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) were also placed in place to prevent undesirable incidents.

The police have already arrested rowdy people in the area into custody .They also conducted flag parades as well as a series of gatherings with the religious authorities.
