Naga Chaitanya and Samantha starrer mass action entertainer ‘Autonagar Surya’ directed by Deva Katta disappeared from theaters in its second week owing to poor response.But the satellite rights are sold for a shocking price and Gemini TV has bagged the rights for whopping Rs 4.6 crore.This is confirmed by none other than the film’s director Deva Katta.
Autonagar Surya was postponed numerous times and it was finally released in the last week of June.But the movie turned dud due to pathetic storyline and direction.
Though Chaitu tried his best, audience felt other star hero with mass image would have given right justification for the role.However, result would be same for any hero as Autonagar Surya didn’t offer any entertainment.
Irrespective of response, post Autonagar Surya release Deva Katta became more active on social web and he promoted the movie vigorously.Once again he publicized about his movie records.
One wonders how the movie could fetch such a record rate even though it was rejected at box office.The film is expected to be telecasted on Gemini TV soon.
