CM Jagan lays Foundation stone for Renewable Energy Projects

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday virtually performed the bhoomi puja ceremony for three renewable energy projects in Nandyal district.These projects include solar and wind power plants.

During the event, CM Jagan highlighted that the country’s largest solar power plant will be established across 8,000 acres of land.He emphasized the environmental benefits of this project and mentioned that it will create job opportunities for the local youth.

The establishment of these renewable energy projects signifies the government’s commitment to promoting clean and sustainable energy sources in the region.

The 2,300 mw solar power project will see collaboration with M/s Greenko while the 1,014 mw power project will see a team-up with M/s AM Green Energy and the 2,000mw power project with M/s Ecoren Energy, officials said.

AP Genco officials and JMD of AP Transco, Chakradhar Babu, reviewed the arrangements with the energy sector officials here on Tuesday.Later, Chakradhar Babu said the state government was initiating a series of steps to undertake the start of large-scale renewable energy power projects in Nandyal district in Rayalaseema region, in the first phase.
