Galle (IANS 21 Nov 2001) West Indies debutant Jeremy Solozano was taken to hospital following a head injury in Test match between Sri Lankan and West Indies.Solozano will remain in hospital for the night, Cricket West Indies (CWI) said.Solozano’s scan results had not shown any structural damage, it was also stated.
Update: Jeremy Solozano’s scans have shown no structural damage.For observation, he will remain at the hospital for another night.”We will keep you updated on any additional updates from our Medical Team,” tweeted CWI via its official account.

Solozano was hit in the head as he fielded at the forward leg.Solozano was unable to continue on the field due to the force of the hit.It happened during day one at Galle Stadium, on the 4th ball of the 24th Over.
