Director Puri Jagannath’s Telugu movie Badri is one of the big hit films of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.An interesting fact about this movie is that it marked the acting debut of the actor’s ex-wife Renu Desai and Amisha Patel.
The film revolves around the triangular love story of Badri, Vennela and Sarayu.Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel have played these roles respectively.
But not many know that Renu was supposed to do Sarayu’s role in the film and Simran name was considered for doing Venella’s role.As simran had date problems Renu ended up doing Venella.
Even a test shoot was done on Renu for Sarayu role and the above picture is a proof of it.renu tweeted the pic on the eve of film completed 15 years.She tweeted ‘’Found a test shoot pic for Sarayu’s role which eventually Amisha did!so glad I got to play Venella…superb character’’
