Bhopal 13th September : A private aircraft that was carrying the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath and other Congress leaders, including the newly named state in-charge Jai Prakash Agrawal, made an emergency landing due to severe weather Tuesday.
The Congress leaders had travelled to the region of Agar-Malwa to attend an event in the morning and returned to Bhopal.

The helicopter was headed towards Bhopal however because of the weather, the pilot required an emergency landing at the campus of a college in Sehore district.It is which is about 35 km from the capital of the state.

The Congress leaders then made it to Bhopal via the road the Congress leader said to IANS.Due to the fresh rains in the afternoon of Tuesday, the skies in Bhopal and its adjoining districts including Sehore was dark and cloudy.

Congress MLA from Raghogarh, Jaivardhan Singh, who is the son of veteran Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh was with Nath as well as Agrawal.Delhi is the home of Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Jai Prakash Agrawal who was appointed as the in-charge of Madhya Pradesh, had arrived in Bhopal late on Monday evening.

“Kamal Nath was joined by Congress state unit chief J.P.Agrawal and MLA Jaivardhan Singh, both of who returned from Agar-Malwa, after having attended an event.They’re safe and have reached Bhopal via the road,” Kamal Nath’s media coordinator Narendra Saluja told IANS.
