CM Jagan issued key directives to officials on the ‘Disha’ project

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy recently conducted a review meeting on the ‘Disha’ project at his camp office in Thadepalli.The meeting was attended by Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita, DGP Gautam Sawang and other senior officials.

Speaking on this occasion, CM Jaganmohan Reddy said, “Women police should be made active in village and ward secretariats.Women should not have to go to the police station to complain about the atrocities.

Women police in village and ward secretariats should take the complaints of the women.Zero FIR should be made widely used by the women of the state,” Jagan said.

Also, CM Jaganmohan Reddy said, “Awareness and training programs should be provided to women police on ‘Disha’ app.For every 2 weeks, the district Collectors, SPs should conduct a review meeting on public issues as well as on the safety of women.Set up a display in each police station on how the ‘Disha’ system and app works,” he said.

CM Jagan directed the authorities to crack down on the smuggling and supply of drugs and cannabis in the state.
