Lucknow, Dec 7 : The Popular Front of India (PFI) has put up a controversial poster on its social media handle that is apparently designed to provoke reactions from a particular section of the society.

“Ek din Babri ka uday hoga.6 December 1992 – Kahin hum bhool na jaye”, says the poster with the silhouette of the Babri mosque with kar sevaks standing on it, forming the background.

The poster coincided with the 28th anniversary of Babri demolition that passed off peacefully on Sunday, with no group or community holding any protest.

The dispute on the issue was resolved last year when the Supreme Court gave the land for the construction of a grand Ram temple and the Muslims were given a five-acre piece of land in Ayodhya for mosque construction.

All those accused of demolishing the mosque or conspiring to do so, have also been acquitted by a special CBI court in September this year.

Ram temple construction has begun at the Ram Janmabhoomi site and the blue print for the mosque at Dhannipur village is also being prepared.

The PFI is an extremist and militant Islamic fundamentalist organisation in India formed as a successor to National Development Front (NDF) in 2006.

Its members often have been involved in anti-national and anti-social activities.

More recently, four PFI members were arrested while they were on their way to Hathras, allegedly with the intention of instigating trouble
