Islamabad 28 August : Politics that are self-centered can be devastating to Pakistan as , unfortunately the PTI is playing politics with the accord with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as the lender’s board meeting is just around next corner PM Shehbaz Sharif said, but without naming the PTI as a source.Local media reported. “I have never witnessed this kind of self-centered politics.It is a massive inequity with Pakistan as well as a huge conspiracies against Pakistan,” the premier said in reference to PTI during his visit to flood victims in Sujawl, Sindh province.
Prime Minister Sharif declared that the federal government provided 38 billion rupees in aid to the families affected by the floods with the payment of the sum of Rs.25,000 for each of them, Geo News reported.
In his address to the flood victims the prime minister mentioned that he had already declared a total of 15 billion rupees in the grant to Sindh and the distribution of the flood relief funds among the affected families was already underway in the province following Balochistan was included in the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).”The BISP has complete data that ensures prompt and fair distribution to eligible families,” he added.
Insuring provincial authorities of the support of the federal government the prime minister also said that the other provinces will also be supported with grants.Prime Minister was flanked by Sindh province Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, federal ministers, as well as the relevant authorities.
The prime minister stated that the federal government was continuing its efforts to assist provincial governments in the relief, rescue and rehabilitation projects with the assistance of the National Disaster Management Authority and other departments that are relevant.”A survey will be conducted soon to determine the extent of damage and losses resulting from floods across the nation,” he added.
The prime minister insisted that in the midst of trials, they have to work together instead of playing politics, Geo News reported.
