Even before its release, “Salaar” has achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing the success of SS Rajamouli’s epic film “RRR.” “Salaar” is planned as a two-part film and is connected to the Yash starrer “KGF” universe. There were earlier rumors of Yash making a brief appearance in the film.

The makers of “Salaar” have secured a record-breaking deal for its non-theatrical rights, totaling a staggering Rs 350 crore.

This includes satellite rights with Star Network, digital rights with Netflix in multiple languages, and audio rights with DivoMusic. This achievement sets “Salaar” apart, outperforming other notable films like “RRR,” “Jawan,” “Leo,” “Saaho,” “Dunki,” and “Pathaan.”

“Salaar” boasts an impressive cast, with Prabhas portraying the titular character, described as the “most violent man.” A teaser released earlier this year showcased Prabhas in action, wielding various deadly weapons, including guns and a machete. The film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy.

Overall, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” has delayed its release but is generating immense excitement among fans.It has already set records in the non-theatrical rights market and is expected to be a major addition to the pan-Indian film industry, connecting with the “KGF” universe and featuring an ensemble cast led by Prabhas.
